So...About this Blog...

Yeah, I know it's here. I haven't updated it in forever and, even when I have, it's just been links to other junk I've found on the web. Will it get any better? I doubt it. Nonetheless, here's a post for all of my readers...all 2 of you.

The wife and I went out camping with some old college friends this last weekend. Suitably, we got the first sustained rain storm we've had in quite some time. It rained pretty much the entire weekend so we didn't do much. It was never too heavy to chase us from the campfire, but we didn't really want to leave the safety of the site to go do anything else, should it decide to suddenly downpour. Good news from the weekend, though, was that the tent stayed fairly dry and a nice, warm shower felt good when we got home.

I spent a good portion of Monday night fighting with my mp3 player. I've got an iRiver clix player and, for the most part, I've been very happy with it. Unfortunately, it does occasionally have some issues and Monday was the worst I'd seen. I was having trouble connecting it to my computer - the computer would recognize it, but I couldn't navigate any of the folders or sync my music with it. I ended up doing a firmware update and now things do seem to be bahaving properly, again.

No plans as of yet for the upcoming weekend. It might be a weekend to stay at home and try to get some things done. The lawn needs a serious mowing and my cantalope plant is attempting to pull an "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" and pull my deck right down into the ground. We'll just play it by ear, I'm sure.

Yeah, so enough babbling, for now. I feel the need to include something stupid found on the web. It it's not on the web, it's crap!
