A Bit of Poetry
Oh freddled gruntbuggly,
thy micturations are to me-
As plurdled gabbleblotchits on a lurgid bee.
Groop I emplore thee,
my froonting turlingdromes.
And hooptiously drangle me with crinkly bindlewurdles,
Or I will rend thee in the gobberwarts with my blurgcruncheon,
see if I don't!
Happy 25th Anniversary, computer virus!
Supposedly, 25 years ago, a Pittsburgh high school student created "Elk Cloner" - the first known computer virus, which propagated via infected floppy disks on Apple II computers. It's devastating payload? Bad poetry. The actual text:
It will get on all your disks
It will infiltrate your chips
Yes it's Cloner!
The above poetry? Of course, that's the most dreaded Vogon poetry from the Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy.
