Hi everyone,
It's been a busy couple of days. Thursday night, we had our softball game (although this was another one I wasn't playing in). We were actually very close (despite commiting 3 errors and allowing 7 runs in the first inning). That game was tied going into the final inning. We gave up 4 runs and then only scored 2 so we lost by 2. The real downer was that we had 3 girls all strike out looking in the final inning. :( The good thing was that, even though we lost, I think we had more fun than we've had all season. I don't want to say this is why, but there was a certain person not there for this game that seems to draw a lot of life out of the team...
Anyway, that was pretty much it for Thursday night. We spent the rest of the night getting ready to head out of town. After a hectic Friday morning at work trying to get everything done, we got on the road a little before 2. Traffic moved along pretty well, for the most part, so we made it into Milwaukee around 6. We met up with Liz's family and went over to Miller Park to catch a Brewer game. It was a good game - the Brewers won 4-1 despite leaving bases loaded twice and getting robbed by the umps one 2 or 3 calls.
So now we're back in Sheboygan and just chilling at Liz's folks' place. Liz's mom is playing in a symphony pops concert tonight so we'll be heading to that a bit later. Besides that, we don't really have any plans. We'll probably just visit with the family for a bit and then head home tomorrow (Sunday).
I suppose I'll be going now.
Take care,
Corey
