My Chemical Romance

They came out with a new album a month or two ago called The Black Parade. Honestly, it's very good. I've actually liked their earlier stuff, but I like this album better. Just thought I'd drop everyone a line - if you're looking for something new to listen to, check it out.

Office Space...Recut

I bet you never knew Office Space was supposed to be a horror flick. ;) (For those of you who have never seen Office Space, I'm sorry, but this probably won't be very funny. If you'd like this to be funny, please watch the movie.)

So Is Half a Tree Good for Half a Christmas?

Liz wanted to put up our tree this weekend. Unfortunately, our living room is so totally jammed full of furniture that we didn't really have anywhere to put it. Our solution? We yanked out the bottom half of the tree and screwed the top half directly into the base. So we have half a Christmas tree sitting in our living room. Actually, it looks pretty good, like that. If we put up the whole thing, it tends to really dominate the room. Anyway, I think Lizzy was pretty happy now that the tree is up and she's had a chance to get out her Christmas decorations. We even got some Xmas shopping done this weekend (all from the comfort of our own homes, of course).

And, in case you didn't notice, this blog is now being written with the newest version of Blogger. What does that mean? I have no idea. I'll find out sooner or later, though.

Song of the Day*: Rip It Up, by Jet

I'd take some time to vent about the college football system, but I spent a good chunk of time doing so last night with Tron, so I'll spare you all the pain.

If I had something decent to post about, I would have done so, by now. Obviously, I do not. I shall be going.

Oh, and check this out, if you have a chance. It's the final few minutes of a football game back in '94. You really just can't make stuff up like this: Football Video

* I have absolutely no delusions that I'll actually post a song every day for you to check out. It's just one I heard this morning on the bus heading to work. Good tune.
