Good Old Miswestern Weather

Saturday, Noon: 55 Dregees and Sunny
Sunday, 1 PM: Snowflakes as large as sunflower seeds (the big ones baseball players eat, not the little shelled ones found in salad bars
Sunday, 8 PM: Thunderstorms with mix of rain and hail

Awesome!

Nonetheless, Liz and I took advantage of the one nice day by picking up brats and charcoal and officially kicking off the grilling season. Sweeeeet.

Hello Again

Yeah, so it's been ages since I've posted anything on my blog. Okay, maybe not "ages", but a few fortnights, at the very least.

So what's been going on in my end of the world? Not a lot, really. Work is hectic as can be. I actually had to break down and make a list of all the stuff I need to work on because I kept forgetting about things. Outside of work, Liz and I have been a bit more active, lately. We took a rock climbing class which was quite a bit of fun. We've also joined the local gym and have been going there three or four times a week for the last couple weeks. Mostly just lifting and such, but I've been teaching Liz how to play racquetball.

I watched some of the Olympics but, usually, found them far too anticlimactic. The problem is that, in this age of the Internet, I knew who won everything by Noon when I was at work. To come home and watch a race, only to know who would win just wasn't that exciting. Kinda took the fun out of it, I guess. So, in the end, I didn't watch much.

We got Liz's box built. Haven't done a whole lot with it, but we did install a new game on there so Liz, Nate, and I have been playing games together online a bit the last couple days. Nate's mom isn't doing so well so I think he likes to "escape" by playing games for a little bit, when he can. I suspect I'd do the same.

Aside from that, not a whole lot has been going on over here. Just trying to keep my head above water and work and complaining about it when I'm not there.

Take care, all.
